1. The collection of personal data
When creating your account and your orders on the site www.keewi.io (hereinafter referred to as the Site), the Site collects your personal data. The company responsible for collecting this data is WOOOP SAS, a Simplified Joint Stock Company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 799 872 791, with headquarters located at 160 Boulevard Pereire, 75017 PARIS (hereinafter: KEEWI). "Personal data" means all data that identifies an individual, such as your surname, first name, telephone number, date of birth, email address, postal address and any other information you choose to communicate with KEEWI about yourself. For the purposes of combating fraud as set out below, KEEWI may also retain information relating to transactions on its Site.
2 Purposes of collection
Your personal data is collected for one or more of the following purposes:
• To enable and manage orders on the Site;
• To carry out market and behavioural studies and to create commercial and non-commercial statistics;
• To create and manage lead files, including technical operations such as standardisation, enrichment and duplication;
• To carry out operations related to customer management;
• To choose a clientele with which to carry out prospecting and promotional activities;
• To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
• To combat fraud in accordance with the conditions set out in point 3 below.
3. Combating fraud
To combat fraud, KEEWI has put a system in place which implements exclusion lists, which can lead to:
• You being asked to provide proof of identity, once payment is made, if an automatic alarm is triggered by information relating to your order.
• Your order being blocked if your client account has already been used to commit fraud.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We comply with recognised e-commerce standards to protect your personal information.
When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of this information by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
4. Recipients of collected data
KEEWI's does not pass on data about its clients to third parties for commercial purposes. Only our company and the external companies contractually connected to us for the processing of your order have access to the information which you choose to share with us. The following KEEWI departments will have access to your personal data (within the limits of their respective remits): the sales department, administrative departments, technical support and departments in charge of checks and fraud. Personal data may also be sent to: public bodies solely for the purpose of meeting legal obligations, court officers, public officials and debt-collection organisations.
KEEWI does not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Duration of storage of personal data
If you would like to close your account or ask us not to use your personal information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will retain and use your information as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations and to ensure our agreements are upheld.
When you choose to disclose your personal data on the Site, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of this Charter and of current legislation.
7. Right to access and correct
In accordance with the law number 78-17 known as “Data Protection” of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, correct, question and possibly object to data concerning you, which may be exercised by contacting us by email at email@example.com or by post at the following address: WOOOP SAS, 160 Boulevard Pereire, 75017 Paris.
8.1 Cookies are text files which are stored temporarily or permanently on the hard disk of your computer. Cookies are used for authenticating, tracking sessions and maintaining specific information about the Platform’s use and users.
8.2 Data collected by cookies is anonymous. You can delete all the cookies from your computer's hard drive by searching for files which contain the word "cookie" and deleting them. In addition, if you do not want cookies be stored on your computer, you can change your browser settings so that cookies are blocked. 8.3 Web beacons consist of a small chain of software codes which represent a request for an image on a page or in an email. An image may be associated with a web beacon and often the image is designed to blend into the background of a page or email. Web beacons are used for multiple purposes, including for reporting traffic on a site, counting the number of unique visitors and for advertising, auditing, reporting and customisation purposes. The web beacons used by the Site only collect anonymous data.
(a) to remind us of your log in information or to store information about a session;
(b) to improve the Site’s functioning; and
(c) anonymous cookies are used to analyse how many visitors visit the Site and to monitor their use of the Site.
8.5 You may refuse to accept cookies by changing the settings of your browser to prevent the installation of cookies or to remove cookies. However, in doing so, your use of the Site may be adversely affected.
8.6 On the Site, we use information about your visit to offer you relevant adverts on other websites, including Google, across the internet. To this end, we install a cookie in your browser which is then solicited by a third-party website which shows you our advert. As part of this process, we never share personally identifiable information with the website which displays the advert.
9. Facebook Connect or Open ID
You can log in to our Site using simplified registration via Facebook Connect or through an Open ID provider. These services will allow us to authenticate you and enable you to share some of your personal information such as your name and your email address, thus offering you a personalised experience on KEEWI.
Services such as Facebook Connect give you the opportunity to publish information/posts on your profile page.
